    Mark, George and project scree.

Thats usually at the lowest setting Mark, these are Bowens strobes so fully adjustable. You could use tracing paper over the bowl light reflector to lower the output and reduce your f number but this diffues the light, so I usually do without that and just go with the harder light. You could...

    Mark, George and project scree.

Great tank George and some nice looking results by the UKAPS resident photographer :D Is this a shoot for PFK or a competition or something like that? @ Victor. I find the 500w strobes are quite powerful, I have 2 of them and struggle to shoot below f16/22 even at 50 ISO so quite limiting for...

The swamp cloud forest of the Alaka'i Kauai, HW, use

Hard to comprehend that amount of rain, average annual rainfall here generally averages 100cm to 125cm just add an extra 1000cm for the above swamp

    Macro lenses

ceg its probably a bit out of my reach atm I had not planned on spending that much right now, tbh Im probably going to go for a 60mm, I think this lens will be more useful for me in the short term, eventually I will probably stretch for a 105mm. Thanks for the offer anyway ceg.

    Macro lenses

Not sure ceg how much its worth so I wouldn't know what to offer tbh which version is it? what F number, is it the old AIS version or a more modern equivalent. I would be interested at the right price of course just not sure what that price is :?: Give us a ballpark figure ceg, Im sure...

    Macro lenses

Cheers Greame I bought a Nikon D70 and was considering buying a 60mm macro to go with it, I thought I might get more use out of it as a general purpose lens as well as a macro rather than buying a dedicated 105mm macro which I understand from reading around you really need to use a tripod for...

Putting borders and signatures on digital photographs??

What is the easiest way to put a border or a signature on a digital photograph, I want some way to identify that photos are mine when people download them from the web, that's my main question really, but I am also interested in using borders as well if there is an easy way to do that I would...

    My Vision 180

Welcome Pete from another Pete :) Good job for your first tank, if I could add some suggestions. I would concentrate on adding some interest to the midground area and I probably would not have the plants touching the surface of the tank, having them not touching the surface and improving the...

    New setup-61P

Don't know about prolific Dave, a "try'er" maybe, god loves a try'er as they say!! Not sure what I will do with it, probably a wood type scape, I like the shape of the tank, it has a good front on foot print for viewing to do something decent without the hassle of a big tank. One thing I do...

    New setup-61P

Oh yeah baby I got a new setup going, its a 61P, yep you heard right a 61P ie. DIY tank based on dimensions of 60P :) so 60x30x36cm, nice size I have to say look forward to scaping with it, I was tempted to make it 60x36x36cm but resisted the temptation and went with the normal size instead...
