hi cheers for the reply ... i was thinking the increased media capacity would help to create clearer water as on the third day after water change the sponge gets a bit full and the water gets a bit mirky resulting in dusty plants... the tank is a bit rammed with plant growth due to ei dosing...
Hi
i have a Nano tank and i don't know the internal filter flow rate...
it is one of those cheap 25 liter tanks, i like the tank but hate the internal filter....it is called on the litreature an AQUA-QUBE 25 (it is the tank that pfk mag gave away once with a subscription).
i am looking to...
i was a bit worried about the co2 dump that will occur every 24 hrs from built up gas in the filter
does it have any effect on its operating noise levels also...
hi cheers for the reply... the only problem is that reactor has 12/16 mm connections the fluvel has hoses that are 24mm diameter,...
i think its gonna have to be a glass in tank diffuser .... never had one of them before i was thinking about a cheap ebay one...
hi i'm thinking of getting a Fluval Fx5
at present i have 2 eheim 2026 filters .... one has a co2 line feed into the canister, which works well for me as a co2 diffuser..
my query is can this be done to the fx5 filter as it is designed to expel trapped gases every 24 hours....does anyone have...
it there any point to this if i have to reduce the pipe size to normal 16/'22 to get it into the filter again....it will just slow the flow and back it up again..
i have the modular eheim taps on 1 pump and the green pipes on the other .... the green one's are so dam green
i really and trying to get some equipment out of the tank.... but unless i get a fx5 filter which aint gonna happen soon im a bit stuck
i can fit one modular and one green eheim pipe...
Does anybody have any experience of connecting 2 eheim 2028 filters together..?
i have a plastic/perspex rim around the top of my tank to support the glass slides, so each corner only has space for 1 spaybar or outtake bar
i have just got another pro 2 2028 to up the flow to approx 2000 lpr...
