As per the above thread title - are these 1-2 grow plants any good, grown within a lab where there is abundance of Co2 - I would expect poor growth until the plant becomes use to being submerged underwater are my thoughts correct and are they worth paying the extra money or should...

Can anyboby advise on a foreground plants - I would prefer a leafy plant rather than a carpet covering plant like hair grass or glosso etc, maximum height 1" to 3" so it hides the stem on my crypt plants - any ideas would be helpful.

The majority of crpyts are purchased as semi aquatic - roots kept under water, leafs above water. After plunging them completely in water thus making them fully aquatic - Would you expect to see any deterioration in the leafs whilst the become acclimatised to their new surrounding...

last weekend i bought some callitrichoides Cuba - 3 pots from the TGM. Obviously I will divide the plants up into small clumps, can any advise on the ideal spacing of these clumps so it produces the carpet effect once established.

My plants are due for a trim (stem plants) - whats the best way of propogating the cuttings, I have some small plastic pots which the plants came in. Original the plants stem were in rock wool - do I need to purchase some rock wool or is there an alternative that I can use.

recently purchase 3 x pots of the above plant and the have been sitting in the tank in the pot for a week now. I want the plants to bush out - so I am ok in cutting these plants in half, just above a set of leafs so side shoots will appear.
The portion of the plant I have cut off...

Could you please advise on an good substrate covering plant, nothing to low or to high - i am going to visit The green machine over the Christmas period and I wish to purchase my plants from them.

Could somebody please help in identifying the problems as the leafs on my plants are getting pin holes and after a period of time the leafs break off the main stem of the plant.

Could you please advise whether Vallis likes being in flowing water. i have mine in the corner and it is directly inline with the water from my external filter - its growing well but not getting very high or tall.
