I agree with you, how about the on in the middle?

i was thinking middle one too but then they would be in a circle maybe fiddle with the front ones to make it less circular

when I look from the top the position looks more triangular

I turned the second stone from the back and moved the one in middle a bit

i should say once the plants go in itll change itself. should look good though.

what plant you going? for low plants and grasses eg parvula would look cool

Actualy I´m on to use HC with Riccia and maybe something taller for the background.. E.parvula would only suite the rear area.. any idea?

either E.vivipara , I can imagine it floating on the surface ..

Jurik was one of the many that took some needle fern off me.

Nice to see one of your journals on here Jurik. I can't offer any advice on rock placement really. I normally make fun of these guys calling them the 'rock police'

Will be interesting to see how it turns out....on both forms ;)

it is very difficult to give constructive criticism on an iwagumi. everyone looks at it differently.

this effort is good though, and as it's a nano/cube it should be viewed from 2 different sides not full on. so for that, it works for me :D

it's good to see jur4ik over on this side of the water ;)

thanks guys :)

I´m waiting for a co2 system and inline heater to be delivered.
For the plants I will go with HC, P.Helferi and E.Tenellus

this tank is now running for some weeks,
wc every 2-3 days 50-70%
lightning actually only 1x11watt for 6h
daily dosage of 4ml tpn+ (started with 8ml but had to reduce because of the algae)
co2 is set for 1bbl/2-3sec
Filter is now Eheim Ecco Pro 130

fighting algae at the moment, p.helferi melted and some white worms all over the tank.few red cherrys are allready in there.

any comment or advice welcome :)

this was directly after planting

Looking good mate :) I have a really bad diatoms problem in my little nano at the moment :( Not got the time to dedicate too it at the moment. I might strip it down and re-plant it :)

Is that UG up front?

Flubenol might help against diatoms.
Yes it is UG in the front, never thought it would grow that high :wideyed:
