Hey guys!

This will be my first journal about this tank and also my first journal on UKAPS
The aquarium is already standing since august this year, but i made quite some pictures all the way.
If your only here to see 4k ultra HD pictures i suggest you stop right here ;)
I'm not a skilled photographer, and most pictures are made with my Samsung Note 3 or my Nikon coolpix s9500.
This is my first serious attempt on a planted tank, and i'm really enjoying it!

About the aquarium:

Tank: Dennerle Nano Cube 20
Light: Dennerle Nano Powerled 5.0
Filter: Superfish Aquaflow mini 300 l/h
CO2: DIY yeast based system
Ferts: Easylife Profito, Carbo and Ferro on a daily basis

List of plants: This changed a bit over the past few months, some didn't grew as intended and some were added later. This is what i have right now.

Ludwigia sp. Red
Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo'
Cryptocoryne Parva
Cryptocoryne ???
Anubias Nana Petite
Riccardia Chamedryfolia
Unknown moss species, this came with the Riccardia
Microsorum Pteropus Trident

Living in the aquarium are some cherry red shrimp, and a small group of Danio Margaritatus

Picture time now!

Lets start unpacking!

I was reading a lot about CO2, but didn't have the money for a professional set, so i bought this

I'm quite happy with the aquarium as it is right now. Can't wait till the Monte Carlo completely covered the bottom.
The only thing that i'm not really happy about is the moss and pellia on the wood. The mini pellia is growing ok, but it doesn't have the right shape and color that it should have.

I'm hoping to update this journal on a regular basis, and show you guys the progress!

Low tech tanks primarily refer to planted tanks which are not actively infused with Carbon dioxide (CO2)
