Your absolutely right, flow (and surface movement) have been a problem in this tank. I’ve just changed my outflow lily pipe which has helped a little. I may also move the lily pipes to the back - one either side of the wood.

I have fine gravel in another tank, so really wanted a different look in this one - so thought I’d try some bigger gravel.
