nope, mine sank straight away It has released a bit of tannin but not as much as normal bogwood although some of that colour may have been from the africana so cant confirm.
very little coloration which goes away very quickly. heavier, thicker pieces sank immediatelly. thin pieces may will float, but this is a heavy wood and sank much easier then any other like red moor, borneo etc.
