In order to improve the distribution of my pressurised CO2, im looking at adding a second diffuser.
As the stem plants continue to grow, i find it harder to reach all the plants.
Apart from the obvious drawback of the visual one,are there any other reasons not to try it.

Ive considered putting it under the filter intake, like others have done, successfully.
However coming from the old school of fishkeepers, im cautious about putting anything, but oxygen into the filter.

When you say "adding a new diffuser" do you mean running two diffusers off one CO2 cylinder?

If that's the case, you'll either need valves to individually adjust the flow of gas to each one, or you might be able to get away with having two very similar diffusers. If you have two that require a different pressure of gas (say a hagen ladder, and a sintered glass diffuser) the gas will simply take the route of least resistance, and only come out through the one that requires the least pressure (in this case, the hagen ladder).

Good luck,

Mark
