Hi,
I recently had cause to repair a jewel light unit for my daughter which was tripping her electrics due to ingress of moisture because the sealant used on the light unit was so old it had started to come away from the chassis. After some serious searching around and bearing in mind that I also needed to glue plastic to metal I came across Adheseal on Ebay.
Firstly I'll have to point out it ain't cheap, but boy is it good. Totally non toxic, cures under water, available in half a dozen colours including green and brown, and very easy to use. Some may already know about this and I may be telling my grandmother how to such eggs here but I definitely thought it was worth a mention. Check this video and site out and I can vouch that it does what it says on the tin.
