Hi

You dose slightly less than Seachem Excel.

We're not getting a Tropica order this week (missed the cut off time due to bank holiday)

We'll get more next Wed

I have been using it for the past few weeks and am now dosing at 3 times the norm to try to combat an outbreak of BBA. Results so far have been dissappointing! I''ve used Excel before and that killed all the BBA after just half the bottle.

Some BBA cases will have Aqua Carbon dosing kill it fast and have a strong response to dosing it. These tend to be the milder cases that are on their way out anyhow....... The strong newly induced growth of BBA are much tougher. Same is true for Excel. You should not be double dosing these products in the first place (there are many reports of dead fish and shrimp due to over dosing Excel on the web). The focus should be on CO2 use (more stable and more of it generally) and reduced lighting.

This product has the exact same active ingredient as the SeaChem product. Many other aquarist have been using it with the same results for years now in the US. Excel or this product will not cure every possible algae issue every single time. This is well known, however, it can help over time reduce it and in some cases, it will kill it.
