I'm very seriously considering a rescape of my 90cm. But I've got The Fear. Why take down a settled, attractive, problem free tank? Because you want a new scape. But what if it's a nightmare and it all goes wrong? It should be fine, you've got experience now. But what if it looks crap? But but but...

Help.

Should I swap this:

And if I do, does anyone want a load of bolbitis, some large aponogeton and a lot of Sagittaria?

Answers on a postcard?

Maybe a half way house?

Replace some plants, remove tha Sagittaria for something else. Will completely change the look of the scape.

Maybe add some rock additional rocks?

Yep, I've got a little 30cm and used the same style in a bigger 90cm with the intention of moving the plants and wood over to it... but I like the little cube. I could do something completely different in it which would be fun... but I also don't really want to break it down.

I do like your mockup though - that would look very cool... so either rescape or you need another tank!

Majority of my plants are epiphytes (Anubia, Buce, and Ferns) attached to rock, with just a few non-epiphytes in pots hidden behind rock. I move them around to rescape often since nothing is permanent and everything is changeable. It’s a modular system allowing flexibility of change with no fear.

Not any more :p

Every practice scape gets better
:nailbiting:

Your rocks look grand
Just give yourself lots of time so there’s no rushing

Fish can happily hang out in a decent size food safe bin - extra glass box picked up cheap
If you know you want different plants, sell what’s in there on the sale forum or see if your lfs will do a trade

Two years was a good run @Ken Loach but regularly trimming a carpet of Monte Carlo at that depth was becoming a chore.

Started a journal on what has taken its place ‘New Year, New Scape’. Actually working on it as we speak.
