Anyone know this plant??

I was going through one of my favourite journals by which is by George Farmer, and have come across a plant which i don't think is mentioned. Can anybody tell me what the plant is in the 2nd pic, it is at the front mixed in with the Eleocharis acicularis and has slight jagged leaves as if its a mini Hygrophila pinnatifida [IWAGUMI] Scree Evolution - The End | Page 4 | UK Aquatic Plant Society

I believe it is hygrophilia pinnatifida, just small stems for detailing. I don't think they have a mini/dwarf variety.
