Hi, I have got some riccia on the way and planning to use it as a floating plant. Has anyone used t as a floating plant and how did it grow. How does it cope with currents in the tank? Does it just find a place to settle?
Thanks

Thanks Luis! I thought that would be the case that it would grow really quick. I don't want complete surface cover so I could be getting rid of quite a bit each week

I have it floating in a shrimp tank - holding in place by resting around a piece of wood with java moss on it which is close to the surface.

It produces a lovely half sphere if left to grow.

The current isn't huge so it keeps shape, so no nightmare of little bits everywhere.

I removed it for a while, then noticed staghorn algae appearing on other plants - put it back in & staghorn gone! which was nice!
