Not the best composition (they only flare when they’re coaxing their girls or squaring up to each other!) my Hongsloi “Hank” and my borellii “Bob”

Beautiful apistos and photographs! 😍 would love to see more of these tanks
I have both species in a 252l, a Pair of borellii and a trio of the hongsloi, they’ve taken over half a tank each and there’s only really any flaring at each other if they hang around too long in each other’s half - they’re pretty laid back with each other really.

Low tech tank with 2x fluval aquasky on it, Sessiflora, h’ra, siamensis and rotundaflora across the back, crypts, variety of Java fern and repens mid ground and more repens, hobbit crypt, reineckii mini, buce kedagang/theia/wavy green and anubias nana petite along the front/dotted around. And of course some taxiphillium spikey, java moss and frogbit too. My first planted tank, and first “proper” tank too - last thing I had was a gold fish about 20 years ago 😂

Lovely borelli :) mine is fat compared to this guy 😆 I have the opal variant, but I think I prefer yours, that yellow is amazing.

His girlfriend is an opal, she’s very pretty but looking after fry at the moment so I have no good photos lol!
