Aponogeton ulvaceus

Hi all.
I came back from a 4 week holiday yesterday to find that my Aponogeton ulvaceus has put out leaves which are up to 40" long in some cases! It's blocking out most of the light unsurprisingly, so was wondering if someone could tell me how to trim it.

I just use to remove any complete leaves i did not want, but found this plant would grow so fast and large that i removed it as it would rob all the tanks light!

yea, im finding that too. lol, if I were to remove all the leaves I didnt want I'd have to take them all out. I think I'll remove some, is it possible to cut some down?
