Hi,

I have recently bought an Aponogeton Ulvaceus and wonder if it is ok to plant the bulb in the substrate?

I know the bulb of the Boivinianus rots if it is fully covered and wonder if the Ulvaceus is the same?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Hi,
I've not experienced any trouble submerging A. ulvaceus bulbs completely in the substrate. If you receive good stock, have a decent substrate and have good water column dosing you shouldn't have any trouble.

Cheers,
