I've seen these LEDs working and they are intensely bright. The light spread is excellent and because there is no over spray like you get with T8, T6 & T5 lighting, you won't have to clean your glass.

1 single unit cost £7 per year to run.

Thanks for the link Richard.

It is great that these use less electricity. It also says that the LED's last 10 years, so that saves considerable money over the years as well.

One question. What W are these LEDs? it says the 500 is 12W but it has 5 LEDs in it?

George has :) there is a post somewhere with them before he went off to Afghan, but i think that tank no longer exists.
