Noticed some tiny (just specs to the eye) in my shrimp tank. Are these good / bad / indifferent?

They are meant to eat green algae, nobody has told mine, but they really like cucumber.they tend to sit around on the glass eating algae all day

I think they are just opportunistic. I've noticed that they will take the finer grains of the <"Astax red crumb fish food">.Either way, that's crazy that they are predatory.
