Going to be setting up a 54ltr tank with a asian theme, even though we may be putting Kribs in which really buggers that idea up:eek:, but we'll see.

going to be using http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/index.p ... cts_id=576 for the substrate mixed with some normal sand to keep the cost down.

Got a overtank Luminaire for the lighting about 1.5wpg so not great for carpeting plants so think they are pretty much out, no hair grass for me, never does well for me.

The tank will have a biggish piece of redmoor wood, branchy stuff that I bought a while back.

I'm think of keeping the heavy planting around on 1 side of the tank, was thinking just 2 types, probably both crypts, one smaller one larger for the back. then I'm stuck, I like http://www.tropica.dk/productcard_1.asp?id=033 but I think it may take over the tank. so any other thoughts, would like something preferably low but bushy.

Cheers
JOHNNY

Couldn't decide on just Asian plants so I got thee instead.

Final plant list now is;

Cryptocoryne Undulata 'Broad Leaf'
Cryptocoryne Wendtii 'Green'
Pogostemon Helferi
Hemianthus Callitrichodes 'Cuba'
Rotala Rotundifolia

Also gone for just 3ltr of ADA Aqua Soil Malaya then a sand substrate.

Also some Dragon Rock which looks quite funky

Will this be enough variety for the tank or should I add anything else? if so, any particular ones?
