I have started to reach the point of no return with frustration, after many months trying to fight all types of algae in my tank and removing it. I have now had a breakout of BBA, despite all my efforts and following advice.
Without going into the finer details again, I have maxed out on CO2 and tried continuous injection to rule out fluctuations, added ferts daily and have been up to 50% water changes twice a week to no avail.
My tank is 180 ltr T5 lighting 6 hrs per day,an external filter that is oversized, and the tank is heavily planted.
I have been reading Flourish Excel overdosed is good at killing BBA, does anyone have experience of the this or
dosage rates that are safe but will work?
