Does anyone know if bbq lava rock safe to use in a tank? Having come across a box of it i thought it would look good in my new nano tank! If it's safe that is

Would think it would be safe but rather be sure.

YES, its fine. As long as its just lava rock. I got a box, that was for bbq, been in tank for 3 months, no issues with shrimp, fish or snails. Java attached to it are also fine.
