Best glue for "bonsai" tree?

Hello,

I bought a "bonsai" tree and it turned out too large for my nano tank. I tried to shape it a bit using super glue and tissue paper, but, although it's super strong, it's ugly.

Is there anything else I could use that is closer to wood colour/texture? Is wood filler an option?

You can apply more glue and sprinkle some dry aquasoil on it to cover it .Or just moss(other epiphytes )them bits once in the tank.

Alternatively to aquasoil, you can use sawdust from the same kind of wood to create a virtually seamless look. Thats how your bonsai piece was originally made.
