Blanched Pogostemon Helferi

Many rosettes of my Pogostemon Helferi are looking blanched - the centres are very pale, almost white. Anyone else experienced this? A couple of weeks ago I was away for ten days so I reduced lighting and stopped EI - I wonder whether this is an adjustment the plant made in response to that, now growing out.

I've also had two unrelated instances where, on each occasion, the centre of a single rosette went completely white - almost as if it were a naturally occurring variegation. I did think of trying to propagate, but decided againstb in case it was disease. Whereas the current blanching doesn't look particularly unhealthy, the two rosettes turning white looked more than a bit dodgy.

Yeah, it's quiet common, I think those in the know figured that it was dosing related and proscribed increasing trace.
