Please can anyone ID this blue fury algae I have growing on one of my Crypts? I also have a small clump stuck to my filter inlet.

Tank size: 130 litre, W90cm H45cm D30cm
Lighting: Chihiros A901 set to lowest setting about 12-15 watts I believe for 8 hours a day.
No Co2
Filter:Tetratec EX800 plus, LPH: 800. Outlet top left and inlet bottom right.
Ferts EI dosing half recommended daily amount.

Thanks in advance for any help .

Afraid I can't see the algae in question in your photograph? Half ei with no co2 sounds quite high, hut can I ask how long you have had the tank set up before we go changing anything?

Hi
Your fert levels are fine.I have dosed low tech tanks with full EI with no problems.
I cant see the algae too btw.
It may BBA if is in small clumps as is only one that trows in colour hues (black,red,blue..)when U look at is.But more likely is Oedogonium algae or fuzz algae due to debris settling on the plant leaves.
Have a look here for more info
