Hello all,
What are your experiences keeping Boraras in hard water? Did any of you get them to breed?
Water hardness is high in my area, around 20 dGH. I know that they are supposed to be kept in water with low hardness, but then again I hear that this is overrated for many fish. For what it's worth, the local shop keeps a school of two dozen of them on display, and they seem to be doing just fine.
Thank you!

Hi, can't help whether they might breed or not, I'd suggest it's far less likely however, but know a couple of people that keep them successfully in our norwich tap water which is very hard as well. If you definitely want to breed them I'd try lowering the hardness with some ro or rainwater.
