Recieved some pieces today, they looks really good (thanks for picking such nice pieces for me, Richard!), very similar to the wood Amano uses. I would say that you in most cases will need at least 5 pieces to make a good scape.
Placed some of them in a 36x22x26 cm tank:

The pieces that I received weighted 168gr... this is equivalent to >£100 per kg. I am thinking to stop doing planted tanks and do only marines... much cheaper ;)

Great service from AE though...

I've spent probably like £500 on my marines and it's not even running yet and there is not livestock or live rock included in that. And my stuff is 2nd hand (lots cheaper) and basics.

So I'm not sure that marines are cheaper :p.

If someone was looking for 1kg I'm sure that would be the larger pieces and it'd be much cheaper.
