Breaking the rules a little but seems okay?!

Quick one,

EI dosing in my tank, I have an auto doser, the normal DP3
Setting up alternate days is a bit of a faff.

So I’ll doing
20mls of one at noon,
20mls of the other at midnight
So 12hr it’s break between micro and macro

Equivalent of 40mls every other day…..

So far so good and keeps more of a steady stream I guess.

Partly it’s me being lazy and taking the easier route to setup the doser but there we go!

That’s perfectly fine. believe you can even dose them on the same day a couple of hours apart, as once they’re diluted in tank water no reaction will take place.

I appreciate not storing them together so keep them in separate food grade containers with lids but so far so good

I don't even think hours apart is necessary. In my low tech with weekly dosing I dose macros, let distribute in water column, then dose micros and walk away. No evidence of precipitation.

Localized concentration. It’s totally fine. Even if you dose same time at opposite ends of tank. Or a few seconds after in same spot with decent flow and turnover.
