I have been given an 18" cube tank that used to be part of a sump.

It has a bulkhead in its that if I was to use if I can hide with hardscape and plants, but it does stick out a fair bit. Do smaller in length bulkheads exist or do you think I could just chop it down? The outside one is fine, it's the inside one I think is too long.

It’s not a proper bulkhead just a straight threaded connector siliconed to the glass

A Bulkhead has to parts to it that screw together to sandwich the glass

If you say what you want to use it for maybe we can give you a solution

If you cut it down surely it will be harder to blank off? Best removing it altogether I would think but I'm no expert at all here...

Thank you for the replies. I was going to cut it down but after cleaning the tank up it doesn't look as nice as I would have hoped so I'm going to buy a new new one.
