Hi All,

I'm new to C02, but i have just set up my first c02 system.

I have the Superior Intense regulator with solenoid which i bought from C02 and a good size C02 cylinder which i rent from BOC gases.

But i have a question! everything is set up, and i have opened the cylinder and captured the C02 in the regulator.... at this point, do you then re-close the cylinder or keep it open?

I closed the cylinder to just see how long the c02 would last that was captured, but this doesn't last longer than a few hours and im currently running at around 1 bubble per second.

I have checked for leaks in the system, and i cant find anything so i wanted to check if this was normal?

Any help will be appreciated

Hi,

Keep it open as the solenoid will turn it off when your timer kicks in.
I have mine on a 2kg fire extinguisher and I have the handle gaffer tapped open :)
