Calcium Sulfate (gypsum) CaSo4.2H2O

Hi all,
I do not have a dionising stage in my system.
Probably that. As long as it isn't rising your RO membrane is probably OK. 13 microS is still a minute amount of ions.

If the water is very warm? Above 35oC the conductivity will read higher than it would at 25oC, which is why more expensive meters have ATC.

cheers Darrel

Then what’s up with the 13µS of my RO? Is that due to a low grade RO membrane?

I do not have a deionising stage in my system.

like Darrel says 13µS isnt bad, I have a machine at work that wont work if the water goes above 60µS, German machine which says me having the check the water,

the deionising filters aren't too expensive, esp if you buy the resin and refill them, but cant see the point IMO.

Got about three years out of my last RO membrane :D
