Can i mix the dry ferts?

    Hi richard, i am going to be ordering Potassium nitrate and pottasium phosphate. can i mix these two?- i plan to be mixing up a stock solution

    And are you getting any tpn+ 500ml in any day soon?

    You can mix these two without any problems, just mix another solution with trace and then you have your TPN+, dose the above 3 times a week in alternate days.

    Or you can buy a couple extra powders and make your own TPN+: http://www.theplantedtank.co.uk/allinone.htm

    The only thing I found trying to do this was that the water would just not mix with all the extra powders.

    The dry fert/water ratios seem to be more to do with how much powder can mix fully with the water more than anything else? I tried to do double-strength mixes but I just couldn't get all the extra powder to mix in.
