Hi Photographers
I'm thinking of buying the above camera body only, and adding a couple of lens latter. one a macro.
Or can i get a lens that does various jobs.
What ones do you suggest, what does non ISO mean? I'm no camera buff.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
Cheers hoggie

Hi Hogan,
i think you may mean non IS,IS on canon lenses stands for image stabiliser,my nephew has the 1000d and he takes nice pics with it,you could get a 50mm macro or 60mm macro lens, it depends on what you want to spend, some zoom lenses have a macro setting on them but may not give you the close up quality of a dedicated macros lens,a decent walkabout lens which wont cost the earth it the canon 17-85mm with is,
photography is a very expensive hobby, as long as you decide quickly how far you want to go it can be a nice affordable hobby,
regards john.

Thanks John
Yes,that's what i was meaning.
I'm looking for something that will take good quality photos with the macro lens.
and also i could use periodically for holidays/family photos.
I would like the camera to be light and a reasonable size.
Thanks for the reply.
hoggie
