after decidint to use my new 3ft x 21" deep aquarium for an aqua scape im looking for a cheap effective and non dangerous substrate
i looked in to the bonsai soil and also akadama but ive heard bad things about both
what i was planning to use as ive heard its very effective is tesco finest cat litter
ive also read that it needs a lot of rinsing due to having odour remover and that needs flushing out has anyone on here used it and how much did they rinse it first and also how effective was it with regards to plant growth
any useful info very much appreciated as i would like to try this on the cheap before i order florabase
