Hello guys,

Haven't posted for quite some while, but with a good reason – got a beautiful baby girl this July.
Now, her beeing 4 months old and with other kid, almost 3, it gives their „old man“ time to get his hand wet and start a new project.

After UKAPS Aquascape challenge I become quite fan of 60x45x30 aquaria so I decided to give it a go.
You gotta simply love that extra depth (45cm)... ;)

After 2 years of making only landscape aquascapes, I simply wanted something more live and vibrant in my living room, full of healthy plants and great habitat for the inhabitants.
During summer vacation in Dalmatia I managed to find some beautiful pieces of Juniperus oxycedrus (Mediterrenian ceder) roots and idea was born.

Specs:
Light – Chihiros A-Series & Fluval Fresh & Plant 2.0
Filter - Fluval 306
CO2 – 2kg bottle with inline atomiser
Substrate – JBL ProScape PlantSoil, 12L

It took me some time to cut/connect different parts of the root in the way I wanted to, and finally this was what I got:

Thx guys!
This scape is gonna be a slow burner, Cryptocoryna parva has its own paste...but that also means easy maitence and longer life.
Hopefully in 3-4 months it will be there where I want it to be. I am not in the hurry... ;)

Five weeks has passed, tank is going great.
I'm pleasantly surprised with the JBL PlantSoil, with the regular changes of water and fertilizing with only micro nutrients plants are flourishing...
Few details from the tank:

Marsilea hirsuta
