A tight bend acts like a restriction so there will be a loss of energy and loss of flow rate. You probably won't notice the difference as the big loss will be through the filter, reactor and heater (if you have one).
I don't think my reactor design or any other empty chamber vortex designs will restrict flow that much but a single elbow can reduce flow by up too 25%.
obviously the pump and the size of the fitting will make a difference to flow rates as well but, it will help flow if you can use bends or even flexy pipe. Some cheap pipe will also restrict flow if the bend is to tight and the pipe flattens out around the corner.
