How often should we change the bulbs in our lights? I am using the Current Nova Extreme T-5 lighting currently. At least that is what I think it is...

    Thanks!

    Hi,
I change my bulbs when they don't work anymore.

    Cheers,

    HI,

I don't know if it's the same for T5 but I change my T8's when there's noticable black marks on each end of the tubes.

Some people say this has no effect on the amount of light produced but it's just a habbit I've got into :D

I'd change mine every 12 months, i still keep the old tubes coz i'm a horder!
There is a notable difference between an old one and a new one.

Im with Clive... the amount of difference it makes just isnt worth it for me to justify the expense. If youre rich tho go for it!

I change mine when they become noticeably dimmer.
