Evening all!,
Started new project couple days ago so thought I'd share. Previously had a 10L dennerle but thinking of turning that into a terrarium...
Wanted something more horizontal 😄 and with limited space on the sideboard in living room I do have a limit.. and requirements to be aesthetically pleasing for the missus 😅
Anyway this is a Clear Mini 6. Low iron 22L
L 36cm D 24cm H28cm

To be continued...

First layer added. Using lava rock to help with bio filtration/media as its a small tank. Jbl volcanic mineral is like gold dust at the moment so ended up using this. I think it's intended purpose is for pond filters but lavas rocks lava rock right 😅..

Using Tropica soil powder (1 3L ) and black lava rock. Wanted to keep it simple. Yes I know there should be odd number of large stone but this ain't typical iwagumi 😄. Gone rogue

Week 6: Was still battling diatoms so decided to take one light away for now. Hopefully will slow it down. Lighting is on 5 hours also for now.
I know it's pretty much a given for diatoms in new tanks. Likely the high intensity light from the beginning encouraged it😄
