I have my poor old 36wx4 T8s sorted for my Juwel Rio 400 with FE C02 (easy peasy as it's near enough systemised), but after a chance visit to Pets@Home, I canced on a 36"x12"x15" of much cheapness :D
Anyway I didn't fancy the only hood they had, and the lighing options were of the not very explained variety.

So I was thinking of one these:

However, am I right in thinking this is 2 x 39w and will be too much (I'll not be going EI with this as it's going to be more about fish, so will be using good old "weeds" plus Java Fern etc. I may even use two yeast based C02 jobs) as I think the tank is about 101L ?

What about this ?

And has anyone used UKpetsupplies before ?

Also where can I get a glass top/tops, and if I have to have one/two made, am I better measuring all the way to the lip edge ?

Sorry for all the questions, I think it will be back to systemised stuff for me after this

Sorted for glass top via Aquatics Online.
Just got to find a S/H reg and solenoid now.

I see Greenline is no more, so how is Plants Alive for a Collection for initial planting ?

It's a pity the http://www.tropical-aquarium-plants.co.uk shop and website wasn't still going, as my main tank is still running most of the pack they sent a couple of years ago.

Greenline, or whatever they're called now, seem to do only individual plants, so I'll have a look at Java.

I just want a collection of fast growing stuff to start the tank off, but it's not ready yet so it doesn't matter just now as I'm trying to make my mind up whether to use Excel/Easy Carb while I'm trying to get a S/H reg and solemoid.
