I am intending to setup a DIY CO2 system on a 260L tank using a FE and Aquatic Magic regulator. Should I use Internal or External diffusion?

Hi,
On a tank that size I would consider an external diffuser/reactor. Not that an internal won't work, but that properly set up, an external will generally do a better job, all other things being equal. "All other things" includes good flow throughput. Follow the 10X rule and you should be OK.

Cheers,

So if I were to install the reactor on the return from filter would that do the job?

Restriction of circulation could be a factor in choice, but I am sure I would never get the CO2 around my heavily scaped 240l without a reactor and powerheads.

Dave.
