Hi,

I have found a number of suppliers of CO2 fire extinguishers here in Spain but they all refer to an extinguisher that produces " co2 snow " for I believe fire type 89B. I am still looking for a welding one but a 5KG tank new is about 30 pounds so i think its good value at this. I have searched for specs you have used but i am assuming CO2 is CO2 and that im not likely to end up with a mix of co2 and somthing else by accident?

That sounds like it might be Dry Ice - if so not very useful...

CO2 is CO2 but it can be solid, liquid or gas. Only gas is useful of course. See if you can get clarification on the output.

Cheers,

it tends not to be a liquid as its sublime and tends to change straight into a solid as its melting and freezing points are nearly the same.Under pressure it may be a different story
