Hello everyone,

I was just wondering how many of you have tryed using different kinds of fish instead of the standard one kind of fish.

I think people often use 2-3 if yo also include the likes of ottos and SAEs.

If you look at Amano's Aquariums they often use 2,3 or 4 different species depending also on tank size.

My own tank has several species of fish (15-20), it is more jungle planted than Nature aquariums which often to my mind are around giving the impression of mountains, Forest scapes etc, but mine is more in the forest.

If you want to put several types in you go for it Perhaps have a main shoal of one type then add a few smaller shoals? That way you should keep the effect of the large shoal but get to out other stuff too

I was thinking a shoal of Cardianls and then then a smaller shoal of Rummys and then maybe darting round the tank I could have some threadfins.
