Hi guys - this might have been asked before but I've been unable to find an answer.

Is there a way to connect hosing tube to say a check valve more easily?

I'm having difficultly connecting my hosing to a check cable and only managed to get it half way on.

I heard soaking the ends in hot water but I can't do that now. Is there a way to for a partially fitted hose?

Thanks!

A smear of vasaline will help for sure, I do it with my glass lily pipes so they're easy to remove and clean.
thanks Whitey!
How would you loosen it though with the Vaseline? - to disconnect.
Plus, adding Vaseline would it cause leaks?

LOL, I don't think Nath would do it if it caused leaks or he would have water all over the place. ;) But to put your mind at rest, I do the same  A smear mind, not half a tub.

I warmed the tube to a bubble counter up over a kettle the other day to remove it. mite be worth a try to get you all the way on
