Consistent co2 in the morning, not in the afternoon ?

Hello, I have a regulator that is at least 7 years old, made in Germany. I never worried about it, but there is something strange. In the morning the co2 is consistent, the number of bubbles is the same but after a few hours of operation, the flow is accelerated, where can this come from? does co2 tubing need to be replaced because mine is at elast 5 yo ? thx

i'm pretty sure that's one of the thing that make the BBA hard to get ride of in my tank

I removed the solenoid but before that it was already the same problem

Is your diffusor big enough for the tank? If its too small perhaps the initial pressure isnt enough to push enough of the co2 through quick enough so pressure behind it keeps growing until its high enough to push more co2 through?

diffuser is even oversized

i think it's dual stage, high gas level, really high actually, the regulator show 1 bar "output" is that enough ?
A working pressure of 1 bar is low. There is no "correct" working pressure since it depends on the whole system setup, but you should try increasing it at least to ~2 bar. Check for leaks after changing the pressure

Your regulator seems to have a single chamber. On a dual stage regulator, the CO2 output and the CO2 cylinder are often connected to separate chambers (see pic below). On yours, it seems they are connected to the same chamber, which could indicate it is single stage. However, some regulators have a single and deeper/bigger chamber that contains the two stages.
