I am getting some discoloration and holes in a few Crypt leaves - nothing too extensive. emailed images to Tropica and they agree that it does not look like Crypt melt but some sort of fungi or attack from fish - not sure about the latter :?

In a 260l tank and dosing 1ml TPN for 5 days and 1ml TPN + for the other 2 - as suggested by Tropica.

Any similar experience?

Your cyrpts are not suffering from melt, if they were melting they go see through and go all mushy. I think is a nitrogen shortage thats causing the holes. I have reviewed Tropica book for TPN & TPN+ and according to the book 5mls per 50 litres per week for either solutions - so at your current regime you are way under what they state.

For your tank @ 260 ltr you should be adding 25mls over the week for either solutions, so 5 mls per day for either solutions.

Thanks Paul (first link shows error 404) Interesting that, you are right and it does suggest a much higher dose, but it does say that the recommended dose should be adjusted according to the plants and I have gone with recommendation from Tropica. However, It does seem likely that Nitrogen is low. I will up it a little and see what happens, just a little wary of creating an algae problem.
