Diatoms?

I think this is Diatoms algae, would you learned people agree?

I think you're right, looks like diatoms.

Somone will be along requesting more information and be able to offer a more definitive answer, like......how long it's been set up etc..

Coming up to 4 weeks old now. No CO2, dosing 2ml TNC complete a day, gone from 50% water changes a day in week one to every 2 days week 2, every 3 this week and plan on doing it once a week next week. 7hrs of light a day.

I wouldn't worry too much about them at the moment. You tank is very new and diatoms are normally the first type of algae to appear. As the tank matures they should disappear of their own accord.

I'd agree, just remove as much as you can manually during your water changes, they will go eventually.
