Some months back I bought these test strips off Amazon...
At the time I was interested in checking for any evidence of chlorine coming out of the inline carbon block filter attached to my DIY auto water change system. I wasn't interested in accuracy so much as ensuring chlorine levels were zero.
Since then I have routinely been using the strips to test for nitrite. Again accuracy wasn't an issue as I was checking for zero nitrite.
Unusually these strips have both a KH & Total Alkalinity test, which puzzles me as I've long been under the impression that KH tests were in fact Total Alkalinity tests. So I'm wondering if anyone knows what is the difference in methodology between these two tests?
