Hi all I’ve never even contemplated having one but I came across the video and wondered if anyone has used one of these for dosing aquaria ?

I use 18 dosing heads on my different tanks I use GHL dosers. As they have advance features and can be networked. ATO , water changes and dosing and even testing of the water is possible

Quite easy to make your own dosing pumps, as many members have here.

My original dosing pump setup used circuitry to alternately activate each peristaltic pump every 24hours (micros and macros ferts on alternate days), so just one mains timer could be used to power both pumps.

Now using a far more powerful and configurable PLC to control the pumps and all other tank electrics.

This is my micro dosing schedule, for instance, 15mins pump run time (3pm to 3:15pm @ 3ml per minute pump) only on Mon, Wed and Sat.

I have also been considering a dosing pump but first I have figure out how to make my fertilizer with salts.
