Drop Checker Confusion

Im a little confused...

My co2 turns on 3 hrs before my lights and the drop checker is green but quite dark when the lights finally come on. The co2 then goes off 3 hrs before lights out and is lime green and slightly yellow. Should I increase the co2 to ensure the drop checker is lime green at the start ? My concern is if I increase co2 it will be very yellow prior to lights out.

I must say there appears to be no ill affects on the plants at the current co2 flow so maybe I'm being too strict on the dc colour !

I'd stay as you are if your plants are OK. The DC colour will always be behind what's in the tank. If the plant health starts to change then you may have to tweak it up a bit.

I agree with @John S if your plants are ok then I wouldn't worry. I inject CO2 and use a ph controller, gave up with the drop checker and removed it.
