Drop Checker Solution

I have some CO2ART drop checker fluid. When I first started using it it was dark blue. Now a few months on the fluid has gone light blue, when I use the CO2 it goes clear, not green or yellow. I’m assuming something has gone wrong with the storage.
What is the most reliable drop checker fluid on the market?

Drop checker solution needs changing every month or two. Im not aware of any that last indefinitely.

Hello! Try to change the solution inside your drop checker every 3-4 weeks. And see if there will be any changes.

Co2 Art actually recommend a change of drop checker fluid with every water change on their website. I change mine every 2-4 weeks (I do weekly 50-70% water changes)

I change mine every 3-4 months without issue - as long as no liquid containment’s gets into the fluid inside the drop checker, it should be fine.

However I think the OP is saying his fresh solution is coming out of the bottle the wrong colour. In which case there may be an issue with the initial solution itself. I’d get a new one.
