Lost the instructions for my JBL dropchecker... How often should I be refilling it?

    Cheers,

every time you do a water change i believe to make sure it stays accurate ,also the use of 4dkh water instead of aquarium water is recommended if you are not already doing so.

You only need to replace the liquid as the colouration fades. I do mine about every month! More often wouldn't hurt though obviously.

Thanks both. I've got the 4dkH solution. Just got a bit worried as the pH dropped but the drop checker hadn't changed colour - made me wonder if it wasn't working. Realised though that the aquarium salt i'd added to treat a poorly fish was probably responsible for the pH change
